April 14, 2025 Some of the Best Mexican food hands down. Loved the atmosphere, wonderful service. Large portions. Comfortable seating. There is also outside dining. Located walking distance from the hotel I was staying at. I recommend.
Passing through to pick a ring, the service was amazing the atmosphere was excellent and clean as you can get. As well as their habanero salsa I wouldn't order unless you got some balls on you. (It's good) (for the strong)
Was showing property in the area and wanted some Mexican food. Decided to try Habaneros for the first time. Food was great. Had good flavors. Service was attentive. Clean restaurant. Lots of seating.
Ate on Sunday so it was really busy but the food was good and tasty. Service was good with a friendly server but didn't get a refill on our drink til the end of our meal. Overall, it was a great experience and we will eat here again.
Greeted a d seated from the moment we walked in. Chips and salsa served as we were sitting down. Everything is so clean and love the atmosphere. Bathrooms so clean and smell fresh, not yucky like some restaurants. We ordered the Mexican Enchilidas and the Burritto Habaneros. Great price and the portions are huge- we had to get to go boxes. that simply means we’re going to eat great again tonight.. can’t read this restaurant and everything about it highly enough. Just so and beyond cost efficient. oh definitely come again the next time we are in Springfield.
Mrs. MH threw out the idea of eating at Habaneros. I'm certainly glad she did! When the sign said "Immediate Seating" on a Friday night, I was a bit skeptical, to say the least. But, when we walked in, I believed them. LOTS of seating, including upstairs. It was great! The food was great, even if the kitchen was a bit slow. But they had several large parties, so we really didn't mind. Our server was very kind and professional. And when I got the wrong burrito, they promptly compted my meal. Very good service indeed. The Mrs. and I will definitely be back.
As many times as we drove by this restaurant, I'm glad we finally stopped in to eat. We met some family here and we were not disappointed. Children's menu had plenty to choose from, including chicken tenders, cheeseburgers, nachos with chicken or beef, tacos, and more. The prices were very reasonable. They have a fajita plate for two that is unbelievable, with shrimp, beef, pork, or chicken. The menu is amazing, offering all of the traditional favorites, and yes, the food is authentic. The service was excellent as well . We will be back.

I ordered the Chicken El Jefe, and it was flavorful and satisfying. - *Quick Service*: We were in and out in about 30 minutes, which was perfect for a quick lunch or dinner. If you're looking for tasty Mexican food with quick service, Hobaneros is a great choice. The Chicken El Jefe is definitely worth trying!
